Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic

Neptune Refrigeration and Air Conditioning primarily service and support the Marine and associated industries.

We seek an energetic and professional tradesman to join our team. Tradesmen who have just finished their apprenticeship are also encouraged to apply.

There is opportunity to work regular overtime and there is optional travel away with allowances paid. Hourly rate is extremely generous and well above award with overtime rates applicable.  A company vehicle, uniforms and tablet supplied.

The successful applicant must possess the following to be considered;

• Required Trade Licences (RHL, Restricted Electrical Licence & QBCC Mechanical Services Occupational Licence)
• Manual QLD Drivers Licence (forklift Licence desirable)
• Intermediate computer skill using Microsoft Office Suite (Simpro tablet skills desirable)
• General Construction Induction (Blue/White Card)
• Be willing to obtain necessary certificates and Licences (High-Risk Work Licences, first aid etc)
• Have a strong work ethic that applies commitment to finalising jobs to a high standard.
• Be self-directed, driven and enthusiastic
• Be neat, tidy, well presented, and an excellent representative of the company
• Be willing to travel, and be available for overtime hours 
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Have professional goals and always work hard to achieve these goals
