You are expected to be an active team member of a team which provides high quality gardening services to early childhood education and care centre and the social services industry.

This includes:

• Able to work as a team member.

• Experienced in the gardening industry.
• Implementing the policies and procedures of all services.
• Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations.

Job Summary

As a gardener you are required to ensure that all duties are carried out in timely,  professional, reliable and honest manner.

  
Essential Criteria 

• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain one)
• Valid driver's licence
• Gardening Experience
• First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Enthusiastic, reliable and honest
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Can-do attitude
• Team player

 General Responsibilities

High standards as a gardener working in early childhood education and care setting and other properties as required.

Working in accordance with the Code of Ethics of Moorditch Gurlongga Association.   

Working in accordance with the policies and associated procedures of the organisation.

Qualifications and experience required with position, also Working with Children Card, National Police Clearance and a valid driver's licence.

The position is paid under the Children's Services Award 2010 and the Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
