Due to continual growth, Falcon Diesel has a position available. Based at our workshop in Hemmant, the successful applicant will conduct service and repairs, both scheduled and breakdown to a wide range of heavy equipment. 

A field service vehicle and diagnostic laptop are provided to carry out breakdowns and provide support to our Commercial marine, power gen, mining and civil customers locally and in remote locations. 

This is a permanent position, with overtime and Living away from home allowance offered.

Preferred experience in the following equipment would be advantageous though not a requirement.

• Cummins
• Caterpillar
• Volvo
• John Deere 
• Hitachi 
• Epiroc
• Twin disc
• ZF transmissions
• Various civil equipment 
• Commercial marine
• Power generation 

Gain good exposure to marine power gen and underground equipment.

• Diesel mechanic trade qualified 
• Attention to detail and good attitude is a must
• good understanding of 12v/24v electrical systems required
• Experience with engine/ component rebuilding preferred
• Underground experience preferred but not essential
• Previous shift work exposure preferred
• OEM background or training highly regarded 
• Good exposure to diagnostic programs
• Ability to work remotely and in a field environment
• leave coverage on various mine sites and away work when required
