About us

The NRMA is the leader in road safety advocacy. We are one of the leading providers of the NSW Safer Drivers course for learners and growing. The driver training team has developed the best practice curriculum which focuses on low risk driving techniques to assist students into becoming safer drivers for life and not to just pass their driving test.  Our teaching philosophy aims to develop independent drivers capable of making the right decisions on the road even when placed under pressure.

About the opportunity

We are searching for an energetic and highly motivated trainer to deliver Module 1 of the NSW Safer Drivers Course for learners under the age of 25.  

We are looking for someone who has a passion for road safety and making a difference in the community. 

There will be some administrative tasks associated with the program that you will be required to carry out. 

Courses are run on a semi regular basis on weekends, with additional hours during school holidays, and the occasional late afternoon midweek.  

About you

  • Have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Willingness to undertake the Safer Drivers Course Facilitator Training Program
  • Minimum twelve months experience in facilitation or be a current Safer Drivers Course facilitator
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hold great customer service at the heart of everything you do
  • Hold or willing to obtain a current Working With Children check
  • Willingness to undertake contract work
  • Willingness to set up your business under a ACN (Australian company Number) or currently operating under an ACN
