Zero ASBESTOS are a local Sunshine Coast/Brisbane business operating out of  Warana and Coopers Plains (This position is based out of Warana). Our business is growing and our team of, reliable, conscientious and enthusiastic employees have attributed to this with building solid reputations amongst our clients with superior safety and workmanship.   

Job tasks and responsibilities

In this role you will be required to assist with a variety of duties including but not limited to:

• Asbestos Removal both A & B Class
• Use power tools and hand tools to strip out walls, ceiling, flooring, fittings etc
• Operate equipment and work safely in accordance with safety procedures
• Move and load waste material into trucks and/or bins
• Maintain where possible a tidy work area
• Ability to turn up on time

Skills and experience

To be successful in securing a position with Zero Asbestos you must fit the following criteria:

• A current construction industry white card
• Construction industry experience
• Able to pass a drug screening
• Must have excellent communication skills and 'Can Do' positive attitude
• Ability to work to specific instructions
• Be able to work at a fast pace and in a team environment
• Have own boots (all other PPE will be provided)
• You may have a trade certificate
• You may have your MR licence
• You may have an asbestos removal licence
