About the role

Paint & Custom Workshop, a leading provider of high-quality automotive paint and customisation services, is seeking an experienced and skilled Spray Painter to join our team in Thornbury, Victoria. As a full-time Spray Painter, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional results for our clients, ensuring their vehicles are beautifully refinished to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and paint vehicle bodies, parts, and components using state-of-the-art spray painting equipment and techniques
• Perform meticulous colour matching to ensure a seamless and perfect finish
• Mix paint colours and maintain paint inventory to support efficient and consistent workflow
• Collaborate with the wider team to troubleshoot any issues and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate updates on project progress

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional Spray Painter in the automotive industry
• Proven expertise in utilising a range of spray painting equipment, including HVLP and airless spray guns
• Excellent colour matching and blending skills to achieve a flawless finish
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with the wider team
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards related to automotive paint and finishing
