The Freedom Tyre Group is a large national & privately owned tyre wholesale & manufacturing company focussed on providing its customers with a range of safe & cost-effective tyre solutions for the truck, bus, passenger car, industrial, mining & off the road markets.

Freedom Retreads is an exciting new truck & bus tyre retreading division of the group which provides customers with a high-quality, environmentally conscious, whole-of-life tyre solution for their fleet.

Freedom Retreads is expanding & we are recruiting operators for full time employment with our team based in Carole Park, Qld. The role involves using manual equipment, semi-automated equipment & hand tools to inspect, test, repair, build & finish truck & bus retreads to a high standard for delivery & use on our customer’s fleet of vehicles. 

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

• Sound spoken & written English
• Reliability with a strong work ethic
• Physical fitness & a desire to learn new skills 
• A driver’s licence including your own transport to/from work
• Work experience in manufacturing/medium/heavy industry 
• An ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
• A capacity to work occasional overtime

Desirable but not essential:

• Previous tyre retreading experience
• Forklift licence
• MR manual truck licence

The role is for full time employment with a competitive hourly rate & penalty rates for overtime. A uniform is provided after a qualifying period.
