Brilliant Boton Australia is a subsidiary of Wuxi Boton Technology Co. Boton is an OEM of high-quality conveyor belts for mining and construction applications. Boton has been established in the Australian market for several years- Recently ticking over 300km of supplied belt to a major iron ore customer. Earlier this year, Boton made the commitment to enter the service business as a full scope conveyor maintenance and rubberlining supplier. With an established workforce and customer base we are now looking to expand our capacity and capabilities. Position Description: Trainee Belt Splicer

Reporting to the coordinator, the trainee’s tasks will include but are not limited to, workshop work on various components, working on customer sites, responding to any breakdown on customer sites as required, belt installation, fabric and steel cord splicing, hot and cold repairs, equipment and shutdown preparation and actively learning and developing new skills in belt splicing industry.

Knowledge and Experience

No prior industry experience is required, however a mechanically minded aptitude, self-motivated, experience and skills working with hand help tooling and power tools, willingness to work long hours on remote sites in strenuous conditions, basic mathematical solving skills and enjoy working in a team environment will be advantageous.

   Qualifications/Tickets:

  • Current Driver’s License
  • HR License (Advantage)
  • High Risk Work License including Forklift, Basic Rigging, EWP. (Advantage)
  • Working @ heights and confined space (Advantage)
