As the Electrical Maintainer Operator, you will be part of the Future Energy Operations team located at Kogan, QLD working on CS Energy's Chinchilla Battery and Hydrogen Demonstration Plant. You will leveraging your operations and maintenance expertise to perform tasks safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who aims to make a positive impact daily. It is a full-time (36.25 hours), permanent role based onsite at Kogan, 15 minutes outside of Chinchilla town, QLD. 


Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating the plant at all times in accordance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and legislation, and operating instructions.
  • Ensuring the plant is operated safely in accordance with approved procedures and processes including enacting safe isolation of plant for operational and maintenance purposes via the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
  • Proactively managing personal workload daily to achieve the completion of set tasks within reasonable time limits.
  • Effectively communicating with others and being an active member of the team.

 

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Currently holds an electrical trade certificate.
  • Post trade or other certifications within relevant skill sets is also advantageous.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office suite.
  • Previous experience in large industrial plant, power generation, gas plant or renewable energy assets is desirable.
  • Reasonable participation in out of hours coverage.
  • Willingness to travel interstate and intrastate as required to attend and participate in professional conferences and training courses.

  • This is a residential role and is not FIFO. Relocation support will be on offer including; flights, temporary accommodation and relocation of furniture and personal effects.
