LEADING HAND CARPENTER / BATHROOM RENOVATIONS

Kuda Bathrooms is looking for skilled and professional leading hand carpenter with bathroom renovation experience to join it's rapidly growing Gold Coast team. If you're looking for a full time gig with all the perks, or if you prefer to work on ABN, either works for us! 

 

ABOUT KUDA BATHROOMS

We are a small, family run business with offices on the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast. THE ROLE

Gold Coast work only. No commutes to Brisbane!

We renovate bathrooms and that’s all we do. This means that you’ll wake up every day knowing exactly what the day has in store for you. 

You will be the leading hand carpenter, leading your own team of trades for your bathroom renovation projects. You will have the support of a project manager at all times, making sure you have a clear run on every job, with minimal fuss. All of your trades, job plans, job notes and materials will be arranged for you, but you run the show on site and help us delivery quality bathrooms renovations. 

We work in a range of bathrooms, from basic bathroom refurbs, all the way up to high end designer spaces that any tradesmen would be proud of. If high quality finishes is what motivates you, then this job is for you!

 

GROWTH & OPPORTUNITY 

There is plenty of opportunity to grow within this business. As you settle in and if you want to take on additional responsibilities you will get paid accordingly. Alternatively, if you want to throw the tools down at the end of the day and forget about work that is perfectly fine too. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Suitable trade vehicle - ute or van
• Tools/power tools of the trade - We will provide specialty power tools
• Good attitude and eager to learn our processes
• Trade Qualified - Hold current QBCC Carpentry Licence  
• Drivers Licence 
• White Card
• First Aid Certificate (advantage but not necessary)
• Can read and understand plans and construction drawings
• Can manage all carpentry aspects of a bathroom renovation including, stripping, concrete cutting, framing, sheeting, waterstop installation, hanging doors, door arcs. 
• Excellent time management skills
• Be well presented and proud of your work
• Supportive team member
• Good communicator 
• Professional and reliable 

WHAT'S ON OFFER

Full Time Employee:  $105k Salary Package including:

• Base salary - $95k
• Super - $10k
• Long service leave
• Public holidays
• Sick pay
• Four weeks annual leave
• Travel Allowance ($30 daily on top of salary)
