About the role

As Local Government Employee (Signs and Lines) you will be part of the Signs team and responsible for the maintenance and Installation of Ipswich City Council signage.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operate machinery and undertake detailed sign maintenance of roads and drainage assets
  • Operate plant and equipment
  • Participate in planning, hazard identification and risk assessment of work activities
  • Work as a team providing feedback to the team, managers and customers

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Current Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence (highly desirable)
  • Experience in civil construction (highly desirable)
  • Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision
  • A focus on enhancing the quality life for the community
  • Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (including drug and alcohol testing).

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary of $61,723 plus 12.5% superannuation.
