Our Opportunity

Location: Perth, Western Australia

Roster: 4D/4RNR/4N/4RNR (12-hour shifts)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity. The Security Officer will be responsible for providing tactical personnel support and ensuring the safety and security of our employees and visitors to our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorized access to suspicious activity
  • Monitor and operate security systems and equipment, including CCTV cameras and alarms
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
  • Provide support to the operational team by implementing security protocols and procedures
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to security operations
  • Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches or incidents and prepare detailed reports
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security plans and risk assessments
  • Provide excellent customer service while always maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Cert II Security Officer is desirable
  • Proven experience as a Security Officer or as a Control Monitoring Room Operator would be preferable in a tactical or personnel support capacity
  • Cert III in Investigations, Cert II CPO, Cert IV Security Management/Risk Analysis are advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick, sound decisions
  • Proficient in using security equipment and systems, including CCTV monitoring and access control
  • Physical fitness and the capability to perform patrol duties for extended periods
  • Understanding of emergency response procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred.
