About the role

M&M PROJECTS NQ PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
• Performing a variety of carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, sheeting, and interior finish work
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborating with other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
