Carpenter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Signature Exteriors'. This full-time role will involve undertaking a variety of carpentry and cabinet tasks to support the delivery of high-quality Landscape construction and home renovation projects.

What you'll be doing

• Framing, roofing, decking, pergolas and other structural carpentry tasks
• Managing your own schedule and jobs 
• Managing an apprentice and other team members on site 
• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications
• Collaborating with the office team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
• Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

• Qualified carpenter with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering
• Skilled in a range of carpentry techniques including framing, roofing, and decking
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to specifications
• Good time management and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
