About the Role

Qualified Manual Machinist that is proficient in any or all of the following:

• Horizontal Boring

• Line boring (not essential)

• Manual Machining lathe / mill. 

• Competitive rate for the right candidate

 

About You

• You’ll be a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is a team player, but also enjoys working autonomously as required
• Take pride in quality workmanship and maintaining a clean, safe work area
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy using your initiative
• Opportunities for career progression in our growing business for the right candidate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in writing and in person
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
• Must have full Rights to Work in Australia

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Trade Certificate and a minimum of 2 years’ experience 

• Australian Drivers License

• Can do attitude is essential and strong problem solving skills. 

• Can setup unusual workpieces in 4 jaw chucks and operate at a decent speed.

• Forklift ticket (not essential)
