Candidates will need to be strongly client focused, have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task with accuracy and work under significant work pressure. The applicant will have experience in, or interest in, diverse types of residential development within the construction industry.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a full range of Building Certifying and document handling duties including but not limited to:
Assessing applications under supervision and prepare documentation for the issue of Part 6 Certificates as required under the EPA Act and Regulations, subject to accreditation levels
Undertake critical stage inspections where required under supervision
Provide professional advice to clients on a range of NCC and legislative matters.
Undertake all administrative tasks and Office duties
Job specific training will be provided however the individual must be a fast learner and eager to self learn. We are looking to hire employees who are looking for long term employment and would like to join a successful business and grow together. We will be assessing applications as they are submitted prior to the closing date.
Essential Criteria include:
No remote work is offered, so preferably based in Sydney close to Norwest
Ability to work full time recently graduated with a construction management or related degree
Strong customer focus
A current driver license and ability to drive to multiple sites around Sydney and complete inspections for the entire day
Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player and positive attitude
Have rights to work in Australia full time
Possess a Construction induction safety certificate (white card)
