Truck & Dog Driver

About the role

LBK Group is seeking an experienced Truck & Dog Driver to join our team in Hillcrest, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will involve the safe operation of a heavy vehicle, transporting goods across various locations. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of our products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate a truck and trailer combination, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations

• Load, transport and unload goods in a timely and efficient manner

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order

• Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage and other relevant data

• Collaborate with the broader logistics team to optimise delivery schedules and routes

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients throughout the delivery process

What we're looking for

• A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

• Proven experience as a Truck & Dog Driver or similar heavy vehicle operator

• Must have 18 Speed Road Ranger Experience

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices

• Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving habits

• Good communication and problem-solving abilities

• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
