We are recruiting a Road Tester/Quality Controller with drive, passion and commitment to excellence, at our Hyundai Service department in Werribee, Monday to Friday 7.30am till 5.00pm-no Saturdays.

Your mechanical and technical skills will perform a final point of quality check to ensure all repair work is performed to the highest level of quality in accordance with the repair order.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities applicable to this role include:

• In a dynamic and interesting workplace, you will be confident in inspecting a wide variety of vehicles to the highest standards.

• Perform accurate quality checks on all serviced and repaired vehicles.

• Road testing of required vehicles and attest at the completion

• Treating customers' vehicles with the utmost care at all times

• Ensure correct diagnosis is made and the correct parts are replaced or ordered.

• Consult with Workshop Controller, and address incomplete and incorrect repairs, maintenance or documentation with the appropriate technician or advisor.

• Maintain accurate records of all completed road/quality tests 

 

Skills and experience

• Must hold an appropriate trade qualification for Light Vehicles.

• The ability to meet deadlines and work to a time frame

• A capacity to give attention to fine detail

• A methodical and reliable approach

• Someone who can work as part of a busy service department team
