With the rise of the Kia brand in Australia, there has never been a more exciting time to join Kia Australia.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accessories Specialist to join our National Parts & Accessories team in KIA Head Office.
In this exciting role you will oversee the accessory development process for all KIA models and product ranges and review the success of each accessory with sales reporting and feedback on new product options.
You will ensure the quality of each accessory meets the brand standards and will collaborate with various KIA teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality and exciting accessories for our amazing vehicles.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Coordinate with suppliers of potential accessories and partner businesses to ensure deliverables are met.
Identify potential issues with development timelines and communicate the impacts effectively
Coordinate vehicles and workshop space for suppliers to access and test fit products.
Review the test fit results and provide feedback to suppliers where improvement is required.
Provide regular product timeline updates to key stakeholders.
Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
Ensure quality control of each product and escalate quality issues to suppliers for rectification
Analyse project performance and implement improvements where they have been identified
Provide high level sales reporting on existing accessories.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Parts and Accessories project team.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor the quality of materials and components used in projects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Experience in Product development, especially in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Strong team player with communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
