Gardner - Dakabin Hotel

The Brand new Dakabin Hotel is on the hunt for a Gardner to be part of their opening team. 

Sitting elevated on the corner of Alma and Old Gympie Road, the $35m Dakabin Hotel is taking shape and opening in may. The Dakabin Hotel will be an exceptional space to catch up with friends all year round! In an exclusive first, the Comiskey Group are excited to share that the hotel will feature a menu with modern Australian dishes as well as an Asian influence with integrated kitchen's. It will have indoor and outdoor dining, a sports bar with TAB and an Island Bar fully wrapped in LED, a state of the art gaming room with 35 machines, a gift shop, indoor and outdoor kids playground and there will be plenty of entertainment with a designated stage, electronic dartboards and pool tables.

About the role
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Full-Time & Permanent Part-Time Gardeners to join our gardening team.

 What you'll be doing

• Performing general gardening duties such as mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, and mulching

• Caring for a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees to ensure their health and appearance

• Preparing and maintaining garden beds, including planting and transplanting

• Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools

• Watering indoor and outdoor pots

• Providing excellent customer service and communicating with clients

• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar landscaping role

• Knowledge of various plants, their care, and seasonal requirements

• Proficiency in the use of gardening tools and equipment

• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics

• Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform physical work

• A friendly, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
