Professional Nanny

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Professional Nanny to join our team in South Perth WA. Permanent full-time position on contract. Average 30 - 40 hours a week. Salary starting at $35 to $40 per hour + annual leave + sick leave + super on a payroll depending on exp. Must be a mature, responsible, proactive, hardworking individual. Required to work weekends with hours off in the week shifted with other team members and to travel with the family when needed. Main hours: pm from 1pm weekdays / some evenings until 8.30pm latest.

Key hours: 1pm to 6:30pm 5 days a week and then on Thurs, Fri until 8.30pm latest & Saturday 2pm to 8.30pm & Sunday 11am to 5pm on rotation with another nappy. These hours are negotiable and can be discussed during the interview.

What you'll be doing

• Full responsibility in caring for 8- & 9-Year-old boys, working within a team environment alongside other nannies.

• The 8-year-old has a rare disease and needs special care which you will be trained for on the job.

• Meal Prep for family, laundry, errands and light housework.

• Providing comprehensive childcare, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and engaging children in educational and recreational activities. A facilitation of school-based work.

• Ensuring a safe, nurturing, kind and caring environment for children in your care.

• Communicating regularly with parents to provide updates on the children's progress and address any concerns.

• Maintaining detailed records of the children's activities, health, and development.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional nanny or in a similar childcare role.

• Must be 25 years old or older.

• Have good references.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with both children and parents

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children.

• WWCC, Police Clearance, Driver's License, References.

• Own car to get to work with and must be comfortable driving kids in the car provided by us.

• Must live within 20km of South Perth.

• Desirable Criteria: Professional Nanny experience of at least 10 years.
