Join one of Australia's most ambitious automotive challenger brands. As National Fleet Manager at JAC Motors Australia, you'll be hands-on in introducing a major automotive brand to the Australian market.
Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of fleet sales strategies while also assisting in brand initiatives and dealer marketing efforts. This role will involve identifying key fleet opportunities, building strong relationships with fleet customers and dealerships, and contributing to sales growth through targeted campaigns and training. You’ll play an integral part in driving JAC Motors' presence in the Australian market, supporting vehicle launches, events, and partnerships that reinforce the brand’s positioning in the fleet and commercial vehicle space.
Fleet Sales Strategy Development:
Identify and target key fleet customers, including corporate fleets, government agencies, rental companies, and other high-volume buyers;
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
Building Fleet Company Relationships:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with fleet companies, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention;
Act as the primary point of contact for fleet customers, addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions;
Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and negotiations to promote JAC ute products and services.
Supporting Dealership Network:
Work closely with dealerships to identify and pursue fleet opportunities within their regions;
Provide training and support to dealership sales teams on fleet sales processes, product knowledge, and customer engagement;
Assist dealerships in developing customized proposals and solutions for fleet customers.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
Achieve and exceed fleet sales targets;
Prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline updates, sales forecasts, and market analysis;
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotions for fleet customers.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Maintain a deep understanding of JAC ute products, features, and benefits;
Provide training and support to dealerships and sales teams on fleet sales processes and product knowledge.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop fleet-specific marketing materials and campaigns;
Identify fleet sponsorship forum opportunities;
Attend and present (where applicable) in fleet forums;
Identify opportunities for JAC and corporate alliances;
Liaise with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of fleet vehicles;
Collaborate with the finance team to develop competitive financing and leasing options for fleet customers.
5+ years of experience in fleet sales, business development, or commercial vehicle sales within the automotive industry;
Proven track record in developing and executing successful fleet sales strategies;
Strong understanding of Australia’s fleet market, including corporate, government, and rental segments;
Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term relationships with high-volume fleet customers;
Experience supporting or working within an automotive dealership network;
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
Strong analytical skills for forecasting, reporting, and market analysis;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM and fleet management tool experience is a plus;
Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
Willingness to travel interstate as required;
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred;
This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
