Civil Pipe Layer

Offaly Civil Engineering is a reputable Multi-disciplined civil contractor based in Gympie, QLD. Due to ongoing growth and recent project wins, Offaly Civil Engineering are seeking experienced Pipe layers for Projects in the Gympie region. 

You will have the opportunity for 50 hour work weeks with some Saturday work also required.

Ideally, you will have the Minimum requirements:

• White / blue card

• Must have current drivers licence

• Current plumber, drainer or a Cert 3 in civil pipe laying highly regarded. 

• Confined space, working at Heights, Excavator and Dogman qualifications / tickets will be highly regarded

• Strong communication skills

• Motivated and fast learner

• Experienced in installing Gravity Sewer, Sewer Rising Mains and Water Mains.

• Reading and interpreting of plans

Role and Responsibilities 

Installation of Pipe work and in a safe manner, working to the project drawings and standards to ensure a quality product delivered to the client. 
Reading & following Plans
Communicating to Supervisor and Engineers regarding project requirements 
Working as a team 
Communicating with team members
