Role Overview: We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines. This full-time, permanent position involves producing high-precision components with a variety of materials and production quantities.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating CNC Machines: Use state-of-the-art CNC Lathes, Machining Centers and Automation.
• Programming, Setting and Optimising: Programming and setting a balance of new and existing work.
• Interpreting Drawings: Work with engineering drawings and specifications to achieve precise tolerances.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely project delivery.
• Quality Inspection: Ensure finished products meet our high-quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all manufacturing processes.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in the Trades & Services/Fitters, Turners & Machinists industry.
• Strong CNC programming, set-up, and operation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and capability to work to tight tolerances.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improvement.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent).

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years trade experience preferred for this role.
• Engineering Trades Assistants & Apprentices are welcome to apply, other roles are available.
