Now Hiring: School Groundsman/Handyman

We’re seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundsman to maintain and improve the school’s outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, sports fields, and walkways. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, green, and well-maintained.

Position: School Groundsman/Handyman
Location: Dallas Brooks Community Primary School
Hours: 8.30am-4.30pm, 4 Days a week (32 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive Salary

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain lawns, trees, flower beds, and shrubbery

• Mow, edge, fertilize, and water grounds as needed

• Clean walkways, entrances, and outdoor areas

• Inspect and maintain outdoor equipment and tools

• Assist with minor repairs and seasonal maintenance (e.g., snow removal, leaf raking)

• Set up and break down outdoor equipment for school events

Requirements:

• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or maintenance preferred

• WWCC

• Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)

• Physical ability to lift, bend, walk, and work in various weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
