About the role

Join the team at 5MI Aust Pty Ltd as a Carpenter in our Fyshwick, ACT location. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for a range of carpentry and cabinetmaking duties, contributing to the success of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

• Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, fit-outs, installations and renovations
• Construct, install and repair cabinets, shelves, doors, windows and other wooden structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and specifications to complete projects
• Utilise a range of power tools, hand tools and machinery to carry out work
• Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and within project timelines
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and the wider team to deliver successful outcomes
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Qualified Carpenter with 3+ years' experience in the construction or carpentry industry
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials and building regulations
• Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical plans
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and effective communication skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
