Qualified Cabinet Maker Installer

We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team! 

This full-time role will involve all aspects of cabinet making and installation, and consist mainly of installing high-quality custom cabinetry in and around the Hervey Bay area. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinet making and installation, attention to detail, and will be used to working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

We are a well-established, family-owned and operated cabinet making business on the Fraser Coast, with a strong client base and reputation. We offer a steady workload, long-term job stability and a company vehicle.

Your responsibilities will include…

• Installation of kitchens, vanities and other custom cabinetry on site

• Measuring, cutting and adjusting materials as needed

• Operating a wide range of power tools, hand tools, and workshop machinery safely and effectively

• Ensuring precise alignment, fitting and finishing of cabinetry

• Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion

• Occasionally working in the workshop when not on-site installing

• Training junior team members incl. apprentices

 

What we are looking for…

• Trade qualification in cabinet making (Certificate III in Cabinet Making or equivalent)

• Minimum 3 years experience as an installer

• Accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality finishes

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings and technical specifications

• Good time management, organisational and communication skills

• Availability to work overtime when required

• Own tools

• White Card

• Manual driver’s licence

• Forklift licence desirable
