We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled digital Print Operator to join our team.

Are you ready to bring your passion and expertise to a premium artisanal printing company specialising in wallpaper and fabric for leading interior designers across Australia and the world?

Quercus & Co is a boutique pattern design and printing company, renowned for quality, service, and meticulous attention to detail. We print our own collections and also provide a private label print service for many of Australia’s most respected pattern design studios. If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a creative and passionate team, and are excited by the responsibility of handling what is essentially the most vital part of our production process — this could be the role for you!

What you’ll do:

  • Operate large-format Epson and Mimaki digital printers for wallpaper and fabric printing

  • Prepare print-ready files using ColorGate and ErgoSoft RIP software

  • Keep our high-tech printing equipment running smoothly — troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance to ensure top-tier output

  • Perform regular RIP and printer calibrations to maintain colour accuracy

  • Manage daily print workloads independently while collaborating with a small, close-knit team

  • Oversee product packaging with support from studio assistants

  • Handle stock deliveries, monitor inventory, and maintain an immaculate work area

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years proven experience with wide-format, roll-to-roll digital printing equipment

  • Confidence using RIP software and adaptability to learn new systems

  • A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to producing flawless results is a must

  • An excellent eye for colour, with the ability to detect even subtle shifts in tone and hue

  • Strong communication skills and confidence discussing technical requirements with the team

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure

Who you are:

  • A proactive problem-solver who takes pride in every task

  • Detail-focused, highly organised, and systems-driven

  • A hands-on team player who thrives in a small, dynamic, and collaborative environment

  • Someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in

  • Physically strong to carry up to 25kg rolls

  • Passionate about producing beautiful, high-quality work

Why choose Quercus & Co?

  • Competitive salary in a boutique, steadily growing company

  • Hands-on training in a niche area of the printing industry

  • A supportive, creative team that values hard work and originality

  • Stable full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm

  • The chance to work in a creative studio producing work for world-class interiors

  • Immediate start
