About the Role:

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our team based at our Wangara facility. This role is responsible for formulating and packaging a range of different chemicals. The successful candidate will utilize various process plant equipment including mixing tanks and filling machines to complete their work. Some tasks can be physically demanding and repetitive. The successful applicant must be comfortable working with Dangerous Goods, specifically corrosive materials. 

 

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating production equipment and filling lines to complete work orders

  • Accurately completing all paperwork associated with production

  • Ensure all goods produced comply with the company’s quality standards

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

  • Cleaning out product containers for recycling and reuse

  • Assist in any other areas of production or warehousing as required

  • Full training will be provided for the successful candidate 

What you need for Success:

  • Previous experience within chemical manufacturing/formulation highly regarded

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Must be reliable and consistent

  • High risk LF (forklift) license

  • An understanding and focus on safe work practices

  • Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness

  • Must be able to work as part of a diverse team to be successful

  • A knowledge of Dangerous Goods desirable

  • Willingness to learn and work autonomously
