Are you ready to start your career in fabrication?

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is looking for a motivated and dedicated 1st Year Engineering Fabrication Apprentice to join our team. This apprenticeship provides exposure to a range of fabrication work, including shop detailing, installation, structural steel, protection treatment, cladding systems, stainless steel furniture, balustrades, and handrails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General metal fabrication with structural steel and sheet metal

  • Welding, grinding, cutting, folding, and shaping

  • Surface coating and finishing

  • Use of hand and power tools for fabrication tasks

About You:

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Completion of Year 12

  • Own PPE, steel-capped boots, and tools (or willing to purchase)

  • Current Driver’s License

  • A passion for making things and a curiosity about how they work

  • Strong commitment to completing a trade apprenticeship

  • Certificate II in Engineering is highly desirable
