In Australia there are two separate businesses: Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (TMCA) and Toyota Finance Australia (TFA). While we work closely together, TMCA focuses on vehicles and here at Toyota Finance Australia our priority is to provide finance, insurance and fleet management.
This role is based in our Head Office, Grosvenor Place, Sydney. The office is within walking distance from the train station. What you'll contribute to The Product Managers will be accountable for understanding and translating TFA’s strategic objectives into a roadmap and backlog of Product Features to deliver both business transformation, and organisational value.
Our Support Services teams: Enterprise Data & Analytics, HR, IT, Operations and Projects are at the heart of our business providing quality, change and innovative services that drive our business forwards. We also have a dedicated Customer Experience team, who are focussed on improving our customer journey and experience.
How you'll make an impact The Product Managers will be expected to work in close collaboration with key stakeholders, IT, strategy & transformation, and end business users to create, define, and manage an endorsed product delivery roadmap and backlog of ready features.
These are two new positions and the chosen Product Managers will lead a team of Product Owners by planning future work into appropriate timelines, and then assist their team by distilling the intent, direction and business objectives for delivery.
Plan and Prioritise - Develop and consistently refine a Product roadmap and backlog comprising initiatives, enablers, and required product uplift to deliver business objectives
- Define the Product vision, aligned to TFA’s strategic objectives
- Ensure the next two PI’s worth of Features are refined, elaborated and in priority order. Manage the flow of work to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency
- Drive Features through to Definition of Ready for the upcoming PI
- Communicate and gain endorsement for product roadmaps
Leading - Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders to understand objectives and capability requirements needing to be supported by products under their respective management
- Challenge and drive business transformation by leveraging high quality, and industry leading platform usage
- The Product Manager will lead, influence and align stakeholders around the vision and transition of technology products to deliver upon business objectives
- The Product Manager is accountable for leading a team of Product owners, by communicating the product vision, roadmap, and opportunities for Product uplift
Deliver Value - Work with stakeholders to understand, and define the business value derived from initiatives
- Ensure Features are aligned to maximise business value
- Work closely with IT colleagues to deliver product capability which meets objectives, and is delivered consistently to a high standard
Your attributes - Extensive experience in a product Ownership position
- Relevant experience with agile delivery
- Finance or automotive sector experience
- Experience with PEGA, AEM, Salesforce or similar products
- Experience with agile product design
- Sharp analytical and problem solving
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
