1st year apprentice Baker Pastry Chef

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about baking and creating delicious pastries? We are looking for a motivated 1st year Apprentice Baker / Pastry Chef to join our team at Pierre's Patisserie in Turramurra, NSW. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn from our experienced team and develop your skills in the art of baking.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior bakers and pastry chefs with the preparation and production of a variety of breads, cakes, pastries and other baked goods

• Learn proper techniques for measuring, mixing, kneading, shaping and decorating baked items

• Ensure all work areas, equipment and utensils are clean and well-maintained

• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols

• Participate in ongoing training and development to continuously improve your baking skills

What We're Looking For

• A keen interest in baking and a passion for creating high-quality pastries and baked goods

• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• No prior experience is required as full training will be provided
