Apprentice Painter

About the role

We are seeking a First or Second Year Apprentice Painter to join our team at Paint Haven. As an Apprentice Painter, you will have the opportunity to learn the trade from experienced professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality painting services for our valued clients. This is a full-time role with great potential for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare surfaces for paint by cleaning, sanding, and priming

• Apply paints and stains using brushes, rollers or spray equipment

• Using protective materials such as drop sheets and masking tools

• Working at heights using ladders and scaffolding

• Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas

What we're looking for

• Current drivers licence and reliable transport (essential)

• White card, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement (essential)

• A willingness to learn and a positive, proactive attitude

• Genuine commitment to completing an apprenticeship and building a career in painting

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights

• Located near the NSW/QLD border or willing to travel across Southern QLD and Northern NSW for work
