Vehicle Accessory Installer – Fit-Out Specialist

Mills Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly regarded client based in Welshpool, seeking an experienced and reliable Vehicle Accessory Installer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in vehicle fit-outs, fabrication, or hands-on mechanical work, who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.

About the Role: As a Fit-Out Specialist, you’ll be responsible for professionally installing a range of internal and external accessories to commercial and fleet vehicles. These include roof racks, toolboxes, shelving, drawer systems, and internal rollover protection. The role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to vehicle care, and the ability to work both independently and within a supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Accurately install a wide range of vehicle accessories
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and presentation standards
• Use hand and power tools confidently and safely
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace
• Follow detailed job instructions and checklists
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Perform final quality checks before vehicle delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in vehicle fit-outs, fabrication, or related trades
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Solid communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable and self-motivated work ethic
• A current WA driver’s licence
• Commitment to safe working practices and vehicle care

Desirable:

• Forklift licence
• First Aid Certificate

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
