Labourer

About the role

Edens Excavations is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team in Epping, Victoria. This is a casual position with the successful candidate moving into fulltime, this role will involve a variety of general labour duties to support our civil and piling construction projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping us in our Epping workshop and out on site and deliver high-quality work for our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Working with our team doing piling, basement and civil works

• Performing manual labour tasks such as shoveling, taking levels, helping with attachments change over with piling jobs, working in our workshop

• Following all health and safety procedures and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Labourer or in a similar general construction role

• A strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions carefully

• Reliable to work 5 days a week and weekend work when needed

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team

• Previous piling, basement and civil work is an advantage

• Welder's experience is an advantage

• Forklift experience with ticket is an advantage

• Excavation experience with ticket is an advantage
