The role

Crown Sydney has an exciting opportunity for a Gaming Technician to join the Property Services team in a full-time position. This role will see you working in a varied environment where you’ll mainly be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and general repairs of a variety of gaming equipment, as well as other infrastructure and assets across the property including building, hotel and kitchen equipment.

A typical shift will involve cleaning devices, checking for and repairing broken equipment, preventative maintenance, responding to job requests, identifying any issues and rectifying the problem, equipment installs and supporting with configurations or floor layout changes. As you attend jobs, you’ll help to ensure minimum disruption to the day-to-day operations across the entire business.

Experience or knowledge within a casino or in the gaming industry is highly regarded, but we’re open to teaching you on-the-job if you have the willingness to learn and a positive attitude!

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a maintenance, handy-person or property services role
  • Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (including days, nights, overnights, weekends & public holidays)
  • Customer service mindset, with ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a casino or hospitality environment is desirable, but not required
  • To successfully complete all relevant pre-employment checks (including physical assessment, Police and Criminal History checks)
  • A NSW Casino Special Employee Licence (provided by Crown Sydney upon employment)
  • Permanent, unrestricted Australian working rights
