About the role

We require an experienced team player to work on a contract basis installing window furnishings in our customers' homes. Your people skills are essential as you are a key part of the interaction between Kresta Blinds and our valued customers. Experience in either Window Furnishing fitting or Awning, curtain and blind fitters is preferred, but we can train the right person. Your earning potential is high with a high volume of work to be expected. 

We are looking for the right person, to be a fitter in our company at the Southern suburbs of Brisbane.

Duties

• Fit window furnishings (Awning, Blinds, Curtains, Shutters) in customers' homes
• Performing service, check measures and maintenance works on these products
• Liaise with the Centralised Service team who will coordinate your appointments
• Identifying technical faults and actively problem solving to resolve installation issues
• Provide exceptional customer service

You will have

• Previous Window Furnishing fitting experience preferred but not essential
• Experience in Awning, Curtain, Blind, Shutters 
• Proven handy person skills, proficient with hand tools and measuring equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work
• An understanding of safe work practices
• Own Van and basic tools of the trade
• ABN and Public Liability Insurance required
