Electrician : Smoke Alarms

If you have recently completed your apprenticeship, or have a few years under your belt perhaps this role is for you!

Qld Fire Alarms & Compliance installs, maintains and services residential smoke alarms. 

We have an opportunity for a qualified full-time electrician to join our existing team as a result of the continuing demand in our sector. 

We welcome all newly licenced applicants as the role will work closely with our company QTP.

The ideal candidate should have a good work ethic, people skills and be able to work independently in the field. Be presentable, tidy and demonstrate a strong attention to detail and compliance procedures.

You will be servicing our clients within the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast regions.  Sunshine Coast applicants are very welcome to apply.

The role involves the installation of both hardwired and battery-operated alarms, testing and reporting of alarm compliance. 

To be successful, you will have:

• A current Electrical Licence 
• A current open QLD driver’s license and be willing and able to obtain a current National Police Check.
• Take pride in your appearance, being always well-presented.
• A commitment to excellence in customer service, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for our clients.
• Excellent communication skills, have a sense of urgency about everything that you do and possess great attention to detail.
• Be self-motivated, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Be competent using mobile phone and tablet technology and have email access and printer at home.
• Healthy and physically fit.

Prior experience in the smoke alarm servicing industry would be an advantage, but not necessary. We will provide you full, comprehensive training in all aspects of smoke alarm compliance.
