Senior Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Tullamarine. Working business hours, you will co-ordinate and manage the team of 6 technicians responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Materials Handling System and associated freight equipment.

About The Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, your responsibilities will include

• Proactive day to day supervision of all operational activities
• Ensure the materials handling system is operational, issues are rectified safely, quickly and efficiently
• Assist with managing the contracts budgets
• Monitor and report on systems performance
• Administration and record keeping includes rostering and maintenance scheduling
• Keep up to date records on Health and Safety
• Assist with effective and efficient management of a rostered team environment
• Measure and analyse shift, process and system performance against KPI's

About you

Your qualifications, experience and attributes will include-

• Trade or tertiary qualifications along with experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience in mechanical drives, including gearboxes, conveyor belting
• Experience in pneumatics and hydraulics, including Solenoid Valves, cylinders and flow regulators
• Sound technical understanding of automated control systems or high-speed processing environments would be highly beneficial
• Experience leading, motivating and delegating
• Safety First approach
