Speno Rail Maintenance Australia is a world leader in rail grinding technology, machine production, and the service provider of choice for all rail maintenance, rectification, and diagnostics. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking qualified Electricians eager to expand their skill set and learn rail grinding as Machine Operator/Maintainers for our Sydney operations, working on our multi-million-dollar rail grinding trains and vehicles.

The Role:

This exciting opportunity involves both day and night shifts, offering a unique chance to operate our brand-new machine. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic team players with a strong work ethic, the right abilities, and a positive attitude to succeed and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain rail grinding machines and equipment
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols and company values
• Complete tasks as per instructions to a high standard of quality

Requirements:

• Trade Qualified Electrician
• Current unrestricted Electrical licence
• Flexible, team-oriented, and committed to the company's values
• Ability to meet production goals safely and efficiently
• Valid C class manual driver’s licence
• Strong communication skills
• Physically fit and able to meet Category 1 medical requirements (including full colour vision)
• 100% commitment to safety

Desirable (but not essential):

• HR licence
• First Aid certification
• Previous rail experience
