About the company.
Bayside Fire Services are a boutique fire protection company under the Bayside Group. 

We have a central Melbourne office location and storage facility. With projects spanning across Melbourne and Geelong we cover all aspects of fire protection.

We are currently seeking to recruit a first year apprentice fitter. Previous trade experience preferred but not essential.

We are a young business in an exciting growth phase and looking to build the right team of passionate fitters to come on the journey with us.
 
The Candidate:
This position is available for someone who is passionate about getting into the Fire protection industry. 

Your day to duties will be but not limited to;
 

• Liaising with clients , Commercial Tier 1 clients, industrial sites, and infrastructure services.
• Installing and servicing sprinkler systems
• Tenancy fit outs 
• Using online CRM system (FireMate)
• Maintaining and building new internal and external relationships
• Strong technical knowledge of servicing wet fire systems
• Strong understanding of people and time management
• The ability to work well with others and fit in the diverse nature of a small business.
  
   
  Must have selection criteria
• A trade background is preferred but not essential 
• Proficiency in Mathematics is essential 
• Strong understanding of OHS
• Current drivers license
• Up to date white card
• Two recent references
