The role

Transco Mfg Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Boilermaker / Welder to join our team in Lonsdale, South Australia. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson to contribute to the manufacturing and fabrication of our high-quality down hole drilling products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture custom metal components and assemblies
• Operate a variety of welding equipment, including Flux-core MIG, TIG, ARC, Oxygen-Acetylene hardfacing, air carbon arc gouging, and hand tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Hold a relevant trade qualification in Boilermaking or Metal Fabrication
• Extensive experience as a Boilermaker / Welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical specifications
• Excellent welding skills across a range of techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
