New opportunities for Boilermakers and Qualified Welders for a range of ongoing workshop based positions on the southside of Brisbane.
Variety of positions available across construction and mining industries manufacturing a range of mobile and fixed equipment, machinery.
The positions on offer are stable ongoing with the option for temp to permanent, or permanent full time. 

Job Details 

• Day shift: $50.00 Per Hour + Penalties, Overtime, Allowances 
• Afternoon Shift: $46.50 + 15% Shift Loading and Overtime 
• Hours: 6:00am, 7:00am or 3:30pm starts - 8-10 hour shifts on offer 
• Locations: Acacia Ridge, Archerfield, Pinkenba, Hemmant 
• Variety of roles available, choose from heavy or light gauge work. 
• Positions for Boilermakers, 1st class Welders, Fitter/Welders, Machinists 

Requirements

• Perform welding tasks in compliance with AS1554.4 standards
• Proficient in using MIG flux core and solid wires for multi-run  passes.
• Ability to undertake gouging and blending 
• Ability to weld in vertical ups 
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized workplace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Previous experience in mining or equipment manufacturing is desired 
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings 
• General fitting and machining depending on which role you are interested in 
• Fitter/boilermakers also required 
• Flexibility to work regular overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
