Responsibilities:

• General Construction Labouring – Site preparation, manual handling, and general site duties, housekeeping of site, site clean up

• Complete demolition of areas in a safe and efficient manner

• Assisting/supporting skilled tradesmen on various projects

• Handling and operating a variety of hand and power tools such as jackhammers, grinders etc

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

• Work collaboratively within a team of trades to ensure timely project completion

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients

• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment by following all health and safety protocols

• Adhere to company standards for quality and safety

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a skilled labourer, labourer, trade assistant etc and able to provide references of previous employment

• Ability to complete demolition

• Physically fit and able, ability to lift 15kg+

• Competent in the use of power tools

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently 

• Committed, honest and motivated individual

• Core belief in safety at the workplace

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Confident, with good interpersonal and customer service skills

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Punctual attendance to site

• Must hold current Australia Drivers Licence (own car), sites sometimes not accessible to public transport

Qualifications:

• Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)

• Current Australian Drivers Licence

Location: Lower North Shore, Sydney (e.g. Hunters Hill, Gladesville, Lane Cove, Turramurra, Wahroonga, Drummoyne, Balmain, Rozelle, Neutral Bay, Mosman, Ryde, West Ryde, Eastwood, Chatswood, Artarmon, Willoughby, Abbotsford, Five Dock, Concord, Roseville, Epping etc)
