We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) for Auto Finance to join our highly supportive team and be part of our growth journey.

 

About the Role

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for the introduction, education and relationship management of our B2B client network. This role will source new clients and leverage on our existing client networks to develop and expand business relationships for our auto finance products. The BDM will also work closely with our internal loan processing teams to deliver best results for our clients.

This role is for someone who has proven significant sales and client relation experience and a strong drive to achieve great outcomes for clients whilst assisting them with their enquiries about our auto finance products.  

 

Main Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and general advice to clients relating to their enquiries across our auto finance or lending products.
• Build positive relationships with businesses, applicants, brokers, and referrers through fostering ongoing partnership.
• Increase the number of B2B and individual auto finance clients in our network.
• Proactively manage existing business relationships by providing ongoing education and support on our auto finance product offerings.
• Respond professionally and in a timely manner to all client queries. 
• Liaise with the loan processing team to assist in resolving application problems.
• Supervise and develop junior personnel where required. 
• Keep abreast of emerging requirements and markets to direct future business development opportunities.
• Ensure that communication and transactions are performed in a compliant manner and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Work closely with other team members to deliver consistent and exceptional client experience.
• Any reasonable additional duties, as requested.

 

Essential Requirements

• Good understanding of financial services and lending products especially auto finance .
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated sales experience in financial services industry.
• Proven experience and ability to build successful relationships with clients.
• Strong presentation skills to individuals and groups of all sizes.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Exceptional communication skills verbally and in writing. 
• Superior problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to perform relevant finance calculations competently/accurately.
