The Royal Melbourne Golf Club has an exciting opportunity for a person to join its team to undertake training and education as a turf maintenance professional.
About Royal Melbourne:
Royal Melbourne’s East and West Courses are highly regarded both nationally and internationally. Our operation also manages the turf maintenance at the Sandringham Golf Course and driving range. The Club is well resourced and provides an environment where individuals can learn turf maintenance skills at the highest level.
The role:
Reporting to the Course Superintendents on each of the three courses you will rotate through the Royal Melbourne courses and The Australian Golf Centre Sandringham Course. The successful applicant will undertake all aspects of course maintenance and projects with the expectation of excellence in achieving quality outcomes from all work undertaken. Depending on the applicants experience and preferences the Club will consider both apprenticeship or trainee education toward a certificate three in turf management along with practical on the job training.

The position is full time 38 hours per week with overtime and weekend work an expectation on a roster system.
