Granite Kitchen Makeovers is a highly reputable business based in Stepney close to Adelaide CBD and we are also a license franchise for the Granite Transformation. We are looking for a Stone Benchtop Installer to join our team. We specialize in Kitchen renovations, Outdoor Kitchens, Laundry, Vanities, Entertainment Units, Wardrobes, Bathrooms and other related work. Most work is local and for quality customers. This position is responsible for undertaking the installation of stone overlay and cabinets to the highest possible standards.
Multiple Positions - Full time, Casual and Contract
Qualifications and Experience required:
Relevant industry experience
A technical understanding of all the different types of materials and finishes.
Experience working in factory and on-site for joinery installations
Previous experience in installation of engineered stone, porcelain, granite and marble is preferred
Experience using hand tools
Experience with precise measurements and ability to read drawings
A full driver’s license with no restrictions
Punctual and reliable
A commitment to good Work Health and Safety principles
Stable work history with work related references
Training opportunities to learn different skills
The role will include:
Site Check Measure for Stone Benchtops
Preparing jobs for installation
Assisting in the factory & installing kitchen benchtops at customer sites.
Cutting and shaping to plan of engineered stone
Install, Cut, polish, granite, marble, porcelain and engineered stone kitchens and bathrooms.
Drive company Ute/ truck when required
Ensure that all work tasks are carried out in accordance with WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices, including driving, manual handling, and loading/unloading goods.
