YIF offer our clients a complete mining solution by providing clearing, topsoil stripping, load, haul and rehabilitation services.

Exciting opportunities exist for multiple Heavy Diesel Mechanic with a mining, large scale, construction environment background to join the team and be part of the long-term success of this venture.

Daily duties will include the maintenance and repair of a range of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi and Liebherr construction and mining equipment.

Heavy Truck mechanics will also be considered for the role if willing to learn and have the right aptitude.

Applicants must be trade qualified and previous experience on similar machinery is essential.

Mandatory criteria include:

• Relevant trade qualifications;
• Manual car licence;
• Truck licence preferred (not essential);
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.

Along with possessing the above, successful candidates should be fast learners, have the ability to work unsupervised and an excellent commitment to safety.

The roles will be based onsite approximately 80km from Balranald NSW and 130km from Mildura Vic. This a drive in drive out role.
