Handyman All-Rounder

Purpose of the Position 

GHS Solutions has an exciting opportunity for experienced Handyman All-Rounder at our Geraldton Hire premise.

This position ensures items are ready for hire, the yard is safe, clean, efficient, and tidy, as well as assisting the delivery team to provide reliable truck transport services for our clients. 

Geographical Coverage

Regional Western Australia, permanently based in Geraldton. 

Licence Requirements

• Driver License (preferably MR, HR or HC.)
• High Risk Licence - Forklift  essential, EWP preferred
• Construction Industry White Card
• Current Police Clearance (obtained within the past 12 months)

Abilities / Duties 

• Can undertake basic handyman work, such as building repairs, basic plumbing repairs, painting and basic motor vehicle maintenance.

• Ensure items are ready for hire.

• Conduct repairs on Hire items as instructed. Make the yard a safe and efficient working environment, keep it clean and tidy - Yard Person / Yardman roles included

• Assist with deliveries as required - Truck Driver roles included

• Other duties will include but not limited to picking and stacking gear as well as ensuring all vehicles, plant & equipment are kept clean and tidy.

• Assist Hire Coordinator, Hire Administrator as required.
