Cabinet Maker

MBT Projects is seeking a Qualified and Experienced Cabinet Maker to join our Team. At MBT Projects we complete a wide variety of work; From Demolition to Installation of Flat Packs and Costume Cabinets.

We are looking for someone who is wanting casual/subcontracted work to work between 2-5 days a week on an hourly or day rate with potential to move to a Full Time employee (Rates will depend on level of experience). 

-PLEASE NOTE: hours and days may change weekly.

Your Task and Responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting plans.

• Demolishing Kitchens/Laundry's 

• Working alongside MBT Projects Cabinet Makers and Trades.

• Tidying up loose ends at job sites.

• Removal and Installation of Cabinetry on-site.

• Possible chance of overtime work

• Driving to several job sites in a day to tidy up loose ends.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent time management.

• A Friendly and Professional attitude.

• Problem solver.

• Able to work Independently and in a Team Environment.

• Have extensive Knowledge of Cabinet Making.

• High Attention to Detail and takes Pride in their Work.

• Can meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.

• Current Drives License.

• Own Tools.

• Must be confident and able to assemble a wide range/variety/brands of flat pack cabinetry.  

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Qualified Cabinet Maker

• Must be an Experienced Cabinet Maker 

• Must be willing to travel to all areas of Melbourne and surrounds such as but not limited to, Geelong, Peninsula etc. 

• Must be able to read plans and work independently 

• White Card

• Must have Income Protection (or willing to obtain)

• Must have Public Liability (or willing to obtain)
